Future Owasso Rams (FOR) Youth Tackle Football program is a prestigious member of the
Indian Nations Football Conference (INFC) and the oldest and largest football league in Owasso. Owasso FOR football fosters a sense of community that gives both participants and spectators the experience of belonging to something larger than themselves. This is why kids love playing for their schools, why high school football games in small cities can draw tens of thousands of spectators week after week, and why adults identify with their college teams years after they have graduated. Playing for an institution or a community gives kids a chance to feel that they are making a genuine contribution to a larger group.

F.O.R. Coaches Complete USA Football Certifications

F.O.R. coaches are completing a rigid training session through USA Football that includes hydration techniques, how to teach offensive and defensive techniques, click and create playbooks, designing practice schedules and many other areas critical areas. This has proven to be a benefit to new and existing coaches. Thanks to all the coaches for taking your personal time to complete the training.

2010 Sign-ups completed

2010 sign-ups have completed for this year. 2011 sign-ups will start the first of May. Parents that signed up this year will find out who their coach is on July 26th. If you have any questions please e-mail director@owassoyouthfootball.org .

Owasso High School Coaches Camps Conclude

This week RCC concludes the series of camps performed by the OHS coaches. We would like to thank them for the time and effort put into making those a success for the 2010 season. Their time and effort with our youth players is appreciated from F.O.R., parents and players. Thanks Coaches.

The Rise of a Former F.O.R. Player

Before the entire country knew of Aaron Colvin he was cutting his teeth in the F.O.R. youth football program. Aaron Colvin has impressed colleges around the country of his tremendous football skills and self discipline. Aaron announced this Sunday night on the Oklahoma Sports Blitz his intentions for the University of Oklahoma.

Aaron's father Bryant Colvin (F.O.R. 7th grade coach) stated the Owasso HS Coach Patterson and his coaching staff played a vital role in the success of his son. He also added that the home town support was absolutely amazing. Bryant says that this is just the beginning of Owasso kids being recognized as some of the best athletes in the state of Oklahoma. F.O.R youth football is proud of Aaron's accomplishments and wishes him the best knowing he has a bright future ahead of him. Owasso football fans are excited about #15 taking the field this season.
